Important Disclosures & Service Terms
We believe in transparency. This page explains who we are, how our services work, what is and is not guaranteed, and the terms that apply when using Clear Court Cases, including donations and service purchases.
Please read before purchasing or donating
By using our site, purchasing a service, or making a contribution toward someone else’s case, you acknowledge these disclosures and agree to the terms described below.
1. Not a Law Firm
Clear Court Cases is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client services.
We are a technology, research, and engineering-based company that helps people understand and navigate court record and expungement-related processes through data analysis, case research, workflow systems, and operational support.
2. Independent Private Company
Clear Court Cases is an independent private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of:
- The Commonwealth of Kentucky
- The State of Kentucky
- Kentucky courts
- Any clerk’s office, judicial office, or government agency
Although our team works with court records and court-related processes on a regular basis, we remain fully independent.
3. Nature of Our Services
Our company uses technical systems, research workflows, and operational expertise to review, organize, and process case-related information. Our team has experience researching and helping clear thousands of cases each month.
Services may include, depending on the product or service purchased:
- Case research and review
- Eligibility analysis and screening
- Record organization and supporting documentation workflows
- Expungement process support and coordination
- Administrative and technical assistance related to court case clearing
The exact scope of work may vary by case, county, charge, disposition, and procedural requirements.
4. Results Are Not Guaranteed
We have a very high success rate, but success is not guaranteed.
Final decisions on expungements, record clearing, filings, approvals, denials, and related court outcomes are made by the appropriate court, judge, clerk, prosecutor, agency, or governmental authority.
Even where a case appears eligible or our systems indicate a strong likelihood of success, the final authority remains with the court system and the State of Kentucky.
5. Pricing, Transparency & Additional Fees
We make our best effort to provide transparent pricing up front and to keep customer satisfaction and transparency high while maintaining commercial practicality.
However, some matters may require additional work or additional fees depending on case-specific details, including but not limited to:
- Disposition type
- Offense level or offense classification
- Charge count or multi-case complexity
- County-specific or court-specific procedural issues
- Unexpected record irregularities or conflicting case data
- Additional filing, administrative, or document requirements
When possible, we will communicate additional costs before proceeding further.
6. Refund Policy
Except as described below, all payments are non-refundable.
Refunds may be considered only if we determine, in our sole discretion, that:
- We are unable to handle the case on a company basis
- The service cannot reasonably be performed by our team
- The case is outside the scope of what we can process operationally
No refund is promised simply because a court denies relief, because an outcome takes longer than expected, or because a final expungement or clearance result is not achieved.
7. Donations & Sponsored Case Support
Our donation and sponsored case support options allow people to contribute toward helping another individual clear eligible court matters.
Please note the following:
- Donations are made to a for-profit company
- Donations are not tax-deductible
- A payment receipt may be provided for personal recordkeeping
- Donation funds may be applied toward service delivery, case support, operations, research, or administrative costs related to helping sponsored individuals
8. No Government Affiliation or Endorsement
References to courts, counties, dispositions, charges, eligibility, expungement pathways, or state procedures are for informational and operational purposes only.
Clear Court Cases does not represent that it is sponsored by, partnered with, certified by, or officially connected to the Kentucky court system or any government body.
